Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to Washington County Criminal History. Reading its content or using a search feature signals agreement. A visitor who does not accept every condition must discontinue use.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated resource is not government affiliated, a private investigation service, or a consumer reporting agency. Neither it nor an advertising partner may be used for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other Fair Credit Reporting Act purposes.

1. What This Website Is

This private reference site has no tie to Washington County, an Arkansas court, or a state agency. It neither stores official files nor retrieves, certifies, corrects, or files them.

Its content identifies the sheriff, filing courts, Arkansas State Police systems, registry, and outside research tools. Those custodians remain responsible for their records.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on the following prohibitions:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No site or linked-tool information may be used to stalk, threaten, intimidate, harass, or discriminate. Arkansas registry information exists for lawful safety awareness, not retaliation or vigilantism. Misuse against a listed person may violate law.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

If you need a background check for any of those purposes, order an official check through the Arkansas Department of Public Safety - Division of Arkansas State Police or an FCRA-compliant screening company.

5. No Legal Advice

General Washington County record information is not legal advice. Only a qualified Arkansas lawyer can assess how a charge, warrant, conviction, or record-sealing law applies to particular facts.

6. No Warranties

All content and functions are supplied "as is" and without a guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Charges, dispositions, custody, and sealing status can change. No page is an official statement from the sheriff, a court, or Arkansas State Police.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

External links lead to services outside this site's control. Their operator is responsible for content, availability, price, security, and data practices. Review the destination's terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Washington County Criminal History or its content partners own the site text, graphics, logos, and code. Copying, adapting, or distributing that material requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for damage arising from site use, linked services, unavailable content, or reliance on information.

10. Indemnification

A user agrees to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from claims, demands, costs, and legal fees caused by that user's conduct or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Arkansas law governs these terms. A dispute related to use must be brought in a court located in Arkansas. Public access to Washington County records remains subject to the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act and applicable court rules.

12. Changes to These Terms

Revised terms become effective when posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be suspended or ended at any time, with or without prior notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder stays effective. The affected provision is narrowed only as needed to make it enforceable.
